First Ondemand and Navento Technologies are very pleased to announce the signing of a joint Teaming Agreement in order to develop business opportunities for AuthentisecTM Geo-Identity a real-time secure delivery, track and trace solution.
By integrating Navento Geolocation/LBS Solutions with First Ondemand's intelligent identity software application 'AuthentisecTM', both companies will work together to develop the market for this technology which has been designed to transform the business processes of global courier and logistics organisations, enabling them to pass on cost-effective value added benefits to their customers.
The AuthentisecTM Geo-Identity offering will ensure the safe transportation of high value goods such as jewelry, precious stones, high-end consumer electronics, tobacco, spirits and works of art. By embedding a unique AuthentisecTM intelligent identity within a Navento geolocation A-GPS device, (which is then assigned to a package), courier companies will be able to track each package as it progresses from dispatch to final safe delivery. Once added to a package the AuthentisecTM Geo-Identity can be transmitted via GPRS or Satellite signals. However on those occasions when reception is not available, authentication of the person or device scanning the package and its location will be undertaken using the Authentisec server via mobile and internet-based services.
